Pacific Rim for me was a movie that nicely combined a darker tone and setting with brilliant "cheese" scenes. It was a movie I had no expectations of going into the theater but out of nowhere absolutely delighted me. The sense of weight and scale you got watching the fights in it was awesome.

This looks like they took all of that and threw it out the window >_<

Really hoping this is just a s*** trailer that isn't what the movie's going to actually be like. I prefer my giant slow moving brawling titans to what seems to me like a bunch of ninja robots lol.
Totally summed up how I felt about the trailer. It doesn't feel right during the day lol

Probably because CGI looks better during the night or in dark scenes.
